Skooled - High School Winter Retreat!
Proverbs 1:7 states that, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction." This years high school winter retreat theme is Skooled and we are going to be talking about the value of learning to listen to the instruction and counsel of others. There will be times of teaching, small group discussion, and a lot of fun as we spend the weekend together.
Location: Logan Valley Christian Retreat
Date: February 17-19
Cost: $100 (120 after February 1)

Equip Youth Class - So, you think you know God?
Holy. Sovereign. Immutable. Omniscient. Wise. Loving.
“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” A.W. Tozer penned these well known words in his classic, The Knowledge of the Holy. While there are many ideas that flood youth’s minds today, what they think about when they consider God is often shaped more by the culture than by Scripture. This is the reason we are going to dive into a study on the attributes of God this quarter in Equip. The intent of this time together will be to help cultivate a greater intimacy with our infinite God. Come join us as we begin to truly know our God!

Ephesians: The Call and Conduct of the Church
Next Wednesday, January 11th, we will continue our series in Paul's masterful letter to the church in Ephesus. Ephesians is a helpful guide in an age where there is much confusion over the identity and purpose of the church. It will be the goal of this study to expose the students to the true identity of the church and its God given purpose in redemptive history. This study will have massive implications for each of our lives as God calls us to love and unity within the body of Christ!
